PROfile
Description:
Unlike a conventional cable carriers which are made up of many
articulating links, PROFILE is a one piece extrusion. Vibration and
noise generation are virtually eliminated, making it ideal for use
in quite areas or when carrying vibration sensitive cables or hoses.
The unique extruded design also gives the carrier the ability to
allow a combination of complex movement patterns including linear,
rotary, or twisting movements.

Summary
A
NEW Solution
PROfile’s unique patented construction allows it to accommodate
complex movement patterns combining linear, rotary, or twisting. At
long last, a solution for applications previously unsuited to
traditional cable carrier designs such as those requiring twisting
and lateral movement.
Simple Design and Installation
Initially, 12 basic sections or sizes are available, but these can
be joined to give many combinations to suit specific design
requirements. Cables and hoses are simply pressed inside each
compartment via the longitudinal slit in the outer surface.
Quiet and Vibration Free
Unlike a conventional cable carrier made up of many articulation
links, PROfile is a one piece extrusion. Vibration and noise
generation are virtually eliminated, making it ideal for use in
quite areas or when carrying vibration sensitive cables or hoses.
Zero
Wear
Similarly the lack of any sliding surfaces in a self-supporting
system results in zero wear and zero abrasion debris over 10’s of
millions of cycles, making it ideal for clean room applications.
Long travel gliding systems are also possible since the material’s
inherently low coefficient of friction plus smooth surface results
in minimum wear and noise. |
