FOR
IMMEDIATE RELEASE
A
COMPANY FOUNDS AN INDUSTRY
Founded in
1954 KABELSCHLEPP GmbH is the original
inventor of the chain style cable and hose carrier system. Today,
more than 100,000 variants of cable carrier systems with cable
drag chains made of steel and/or polymers, special cables for cable
carriers, conduits and accessories make part of the product
range.
Plastic cable carrier for
every application
Plastic cable drag chains are
suitable for high accelerations and high travel speeds due to
their low intrinsic weight. A sliding operation is possible for
long travel lengths. Cover systems, i.e. completely enclosed
types offer optimum protection of the guided cables and hoses.
Necessary characteristics which are just required for wood
working machines.
The quality of all parts of the cable carrier system is
responsible for long service life, highest operational safety
and reduced costs. Decisive is the correct selection of the
cable carrier with cable/hose separation and end connectors.
KABELSCHLEPP systems guarantee an optimum adaptation to your
individual requirements. The product range includes open and
enclosed cable drag chains, silent, lightweight and
space-saving.
KABELSCHLEPP cable carriers with variable width in millimeter
steps offer an optimum adaptation of the cable carrier width to
your installation situation.
Cost
effective variety:
Versatrax (Uniflex)
A cost effective standard product series
completely made of plastic is the
VERSATRAX/UNIFLEX-series. Open, partly enclosed and
completely enclosed types are offered.
Through connecting profiles and protection covers an efficient
installation of cables and hoses is possible. The strain relief
elements which are integrated in the end connectors offer a save
fixation and strain relief of the cables.
The
multi-variable cable carrier: M-series
A further example for the individuality of the
Kabelschlepp product range of plastic cable carriers is the
M-series: Variable width in 1, 8 or 16
mm steps. The plastic chain bands are connected by plastic /
Aluminum stays or by covers which are variable in width and build
the cross section for the cables. The M-series is extremely solid
due to a solid design of the chain plates and a link stop system
which is encased and insensitive to dirt. The cable drag chains can
quickly be opened from both sides. A big variety of stay systems and
possibilities of separation completes the supply program.
Changeable high abrasion resistant slide shoes result in optimum
friction conditions, minimum wear and long service life.
For
optimum protection of cables and hoses against e.g. wood shavings
KABELSCHLEPP developed the RDD – plastic cover system. A system
which can be opened to both sides. The covers can be supplied in
variable width in 8 or 16 mm steps. Also the RMD - Aluminum-cover
system can be opened to both sides. These covers and therefore the
complete cable drag chains can be supplied in individually width in
1 mm steps.
With the extended frame stay RMA it is possible to guide
cables/hoses with a diameter bigger than the inside height of the
chain links. The extended stay can either be inside or outside the
bend radius, as required.
Further products are the Mono Series
PLASTITRAK, MICROTRAK,
VERSATRAX series, the K-series and the cable
carrier systems QUANTUM, PROTUM and
ROBOTRAX.
With the extremely silent and lightweight cable carrier system
QUANTUM extreme accelerations (up to 30 g) and travel speeds (up to
40 m/s) can be realized. The link free design guarantees a vibration
free operation.
With the 3D movable cable carrier ROBOTRAX the cable carrier on
robots is more serviceable than ever. The cables are simply pressed
into the open system design. All cables can always be controlled and
even separately be replaced.
The special cables/hoses LIFELINE for
use in cable carriers developed by KABELSCHLEPP complete the supply
program.
Furthermore the company offers
2D- and 3D-CAD-data of the cable carriers in the Internet .
