Conical Spring Covers are an inexpensive and effective method of
protecting sensitive areas on and around machinery. A completely
enclosed design offers protection for lead screws, ball screws,
hydraulic rods, and die posts. The dynamic telescopic action of the
"stand-alone” covers results in automatic expansion and
extraction. Conical spring covers are made to order in either carbon
or stainless steel. Conical Spring Covers made of 1095
polished blue carbon steel provide long life and maximum protection
of your rods, shafts and screws. To reduce installation time, covers
are also available as "open wound" units for wind on
installation. Over 2,000 custom sizes are available, normally
within two weeks.
